Everyone is born a sinner and therefore separated from God, and that only Jesus can save us.  Acts 2:38-39, Romans 3:21-26, 5:1 & 9, Hebrews 6:1-2 

That faith in Jesus, repentance and turning away from our sins is what makes us Christians, and that Christ’s blood is the ONLY thing that saves us.  John 3:!6, Romans 10:9-10, Hebrews 9:22 

That all believers are commanded by God to be water baptized.  Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:38, 19:2-6, Romans 6:3-4, Colossians 2:9-13 

In the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and that the Holy Spirit gives us gifts to live the victorious Christian life.  Acts 1:8, 2:4, 2:38, 10:45-46, Ephesians 1:13, 2 Cor. 1:22, Romans 15:16 

That the power of God includes the power to heal, and that power is available to us because of Jesus. Psalm 103:2-3, 1 Peter 2:24, Matthew 8:17, James 5:14-16, Mark 16:17-18, 1 Corinthians 12:8-10, Isaiah 53:4-5 

That being a Christian means living a life that is different from the rest of the world, devoted to the things of God. Romans 12:1-2
